Bulk carrier fixed after collsion

The 'Oceanlove', upon completion of temporary repairs after the collision with the 'Global Genesis', sailed for Mongla with a balance cargo of 25000 tonnes on board for final discharge on Dec 9. The 'Global Genesis' continued cargo discharging operations which were expected to be completed on Dec 11. Thereafter, the vessel was scheduled to undergo temporary repairs and will depart for Singapore on Dec 12.

Collision off Chittagong

The bulk carrier 'Global Genesis' was in collision with the 'Oceanlove' at Chittagong Anchorage on Dec 7, 2020. Both vessels suffered damages. The 'Global Genesis' was moored one mile off Chittagong in pos. 22° 14.79' N 091° 44.72' E, and the 'Oceanlove', which was bound from the Muara Pantai Offshore Coal Terminal to Mongla, 2,9 miles off Chittagong in pos. 22° 10.14' N 091° 46.28' E as of Dec 9.
