Repairs in Alicante underway
The 'Ocmis Gar', which had suffered an engine failure and power loss off Gabes in pos. 34 45 00.0 N, 012 01 30.0 E on Aug 5, 2023, and was taken in tow by the tug 'Christos XL' (IMO:8012011) to Alicante on Aug 19, , got a new set of spare parts provided by the Owners from an authorized manufacturer. Upon completion of permanent repairs, sea trials will be carried out at the anchorage area under the supervision of a class surveyor. Repair works were continued, and the ship remained stationary in Alicante as of Oct 8.
