Abandoned ship sold at auction
The port of Tarragona announced that the Castellón company Ocmis Maritime SL won the auction for the Navi Sky boat for a final price of 710,000 euros on Oct 26, 2020. The Mesa de la Subasta Pública of the Tarragona Port Authority began the act with the opening of the envelopes of the three participating companies that contained the initial offers with a maximum price of 370,000 euros, 20.000 above the starting price (350,000 euros), presented by the company. The auction started from these 370,000 euros and the participating companies were able to bid 'live voice' until reaching the final result of the public auction with the 710,000 euros offered by the company from Castellón, constituted in 2016. The auctioned ship has been docked in the extension of the Levante Dike of the Port of Tarragona since January 2020 in a state of abandonment, but with a structure, equipment and machinery in good condition.
