Technical failure under repair off Anamur

The 'Siberin 2', en route from Dörtyöl to Kavkaz, suffered a technical failure and dropped anchor at Anamur on June 22, 2022, around noon, where the crew commenced repairs. The ship was underway again at 6.40 p.m. and dropped anchor off Istanbul in pos. 40° 58.88 N 028° 56.55' E on June 26 at 3.25 p.m.

Grounding on Volga Caspian Sea Canal

The "Gulf Rover" ran aground enroute to Baku at 06.30 a.m. Moscow time on Oct 13, 2014, at km mark 129.3 on the Volga–Caspian Sea Canal within the fairway. The depth in the fairway was less than stated. The vessel, which was loaded with 4427 tons of steel, was refloated at 6.20 a.m. on Oct 14 with the help of the tug "MB-1213 (IMO: 8987022), and anchored. No damages reported.
