Collision on Don River

On April 4, 2024, the cargo m/v 'Konosha' (IMO: 9177404) was in collision with the 'Soormovskiy 3067, on the Don River. The “Sormovsky-3067” suffered hull damage which amounted to more than 1.7 million Russian rubles. The 'Konosha' was breached and dented at the port side foreship above the waterline. The transport investigation department has opened a criminal case due to violations of traffic safety rules and operation of water transport as a consequence. Medevac off Laboe

On Mar 21, 2014, around noon, the "Sormovskiy 3067" requested for assistance on the Baltic Sea after a sailor - aged 43- had suffered a deep cut injury. After a consultation with the Bremen Rescue a medevac was decided and the lifeboat "Berlin" from the DGzRS-station Laboe dispatched to take him off. The boat took a doctor on board. The cargo ship, which was underway to Riga, turned around and approached the "Berlin". Northeast of Kiel Lighthouse the rescuers went alongside the coaster , and in calm weather, the injured Russians was transeferred without problems. In Laboe they the Patient was delivered to an ambulance for further treatment.
