Tank barge with heavy fuel cargo suffered water ingress in Hamburg

The "TMS Antonia", 2132 dwt (EU-No.: 04807910) ,loaded with a cargo of 400 tons heavy fuel, suffered a leak and ensuing water ingress in the engine room in the port of Hamburg at the ferry terminal in Altona in the morning of Jan 29, 2019. The fire rescue was alerted and dewatered the tanker. After the situation was under control, the operator HBS Marine Group which uses the ship for the base oil logistic of the Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH.called another bunker ship, the "Quantum" (MMSI: 211774670), to dispose of 100 cubic meters oil-water mixture.
