The port of Garston welcomes Yara UK to the port as a new customer
Fertliser company Yara UK have extended their north west import operations on another ABP site, with the establishment of storage and bagging facilities at the Port of Garston, ABP says in a press release. Yara UK, who also operate at ABP’s Immingham, Swansea and Ayr ports, commenced operations at the Port of Garston this week when the company received its first 2,000 tonne delivery to Garston from Norway. ABP invested £900,000 into ensuring the facilities were ready for Yara’s arrival at the port.
