Cruise ship stayed in Le Havre due to storm
The AIDAmar had to extend its call at Le Havre on March 12, 2019, due to a storm with 10 Beaufort wind in the area. The ship had berthed at 5 a.m. and was finally able to leave on Feb 13 at 3.15 p.m. It arrived in Rotterdam on March 14 at 7.30 a.m.
Medevac of German passenger off Le Havre
On Feb 26, 2019 at 4:20 a.m. the CROSS Jobourg was alerted after a German passenger of the "Aidamar" complained of pain in the belly. The ship was in the Seine Bay 21 miles north of Le Havre. The CROSS Jobourg liaised the ship with the medical center maritime consultation in Toulouse and the SAMU in Le Havre, and a medevac was decided. The CROSS deployed a Cayman helicopter of the Navy base Maupertus with a medical team from Querquevilleon board. At 5:40 a.m., after having been conditioned by the medical team on board the ship, the patient was hoisted and taken to the Jacques Monod hospital in Le Havre at 6:50 a.m.
Medevac off Cabo de Gata
On Dec 5, 2018, a male passenger was medevaced from the "Aidamar" south of Cabo de Gata. Salvamento Marítimo deployed the "Salvamar Spica" to transfer the patient to the hospital Mediterráneo Almería for medical attention.
