Sirius towed to port
On Jan 9 the "Sirius" was towed to Piräus by the Panama flagged tug "Ionion Pelagos" (IMO: 7601657) and moored at a jetty at 1.40 p.m.
Bulkcarrier adrift off Greek coast
The "Sirius" suffered engine damage on Jan 4, 2016, in the Mediterranean Sea west of Paliro and started to drift towards the Greek coast. On Jan 5 at 1 a.m. the vessel was in pos. 36 24N 022 23E, 4-5 miles off coast in the Paliros area. The tug "Ionion Pelagos" (IMO: 7601657) was sent from Pylos to assist the freighter which had a crew of 13 Ukrainians and a cargo of mineral rocks on board, being en route from Carablanca to Yarimca.
Towed to Vigo
Ukrainian freighter Sirius became disable after engine failure not later than Mar 27 13, and was towed to Vigo on Mar 28. Vessel was en route from Mariupol, Ukraine, to Brest, France. At noon Apr 2 vessel was berthed in Vigo.
