Crew member fled from board
A 25 year old crew member of the "Albatros" was suspected to have fled from the ship in Warnemünde on Aug 9, while the police was looking for him. The man of Indian nationality disembarked the vessel at 12.25 p.m. leaving behind his baggage on board. He had been on board for a week and had little contact during this time. Inquiries in hospitals and neighbuoring police departments about the man's whereabouts have yielded no further results. Therefore, the officials now assume that the Indian has illegally entered Germany. A preliminary investigation into a violation of the residence act was initiated and the man was searched for.
