Repairs of damage in Tuzla
The 'Astol' requested a single voyage permission from the Gulluk Harbour Master in order to sail to Tuzlfor repairs. After the permission was graned, it left the Gulluk Anchorage on April 10 under own power at slow speed. The ship arrived in Tuzla anchorage on April 13 and entered the shipyard upon completion of customs formalities on Apr 14. A joint damage survey was carried out by the attended class surveyor together with the owner's superintendent and Shipyard engineers. Subsequently, repairs have commenced by the shore-based technical teams.
Repairs of grounding damage in Gulluk
On March 27, 2021, the 'Astol' was granted departure permission at Kalymnos anchorage, after the completion of damage surveys, other investigation formalities, payment of salvage expenses and temporary repairs, The vessel arrived at Gulluk on April 2 for permanent repairs with technical equipment supplied by the owner. The vessel had run aground northeast of Presimos Island on Feb 25 and was refloated on Feb 27.
