Engine trouble in Itaqi
The 'Barbosa Lima Sobrinho' suffered engine issues and moored at the inner anchorage of Itaqui port in Sao Luis on Sep 16, 2019. Experts started working on a solution. On Sep 27 at 9.50 p.m. the ship left the mooring and headed to Suape with an ETA as of Oct 4.
Vard Brazil Shipyard delivers LPG-Carrier "Barbosa Lima Sobrinho"
Vard Holdings Limited, one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels has delivered its first vessel from the Group’s newest shipyard, Vard Promar in Brazil, on 8 January 2016. The vessel, a 7,000 m3 fully pressurized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) carrier, is the second in a series to be delivered to Petrobras Transporte S.A. (Transpetro), and the first to be built entirely at and delivered from Vard Promar.
