Bunker tanker damaged in allision

The Liberian flagged container m/v "Calisto", 15487 gt (IMO: 9306067), on March 24, 2019, allided with the quay of the Elbe Port Brunsbüttel on its way towards the Kiel Canal locks and also hit the German bunker tanker "Claudia" which was moored alongside the berthed bulk carrier "i´Interlink Affinity". The tanker's moorings and the bunkering hose broke, followed by a fuel leak. An estimated amount of 0,2 tons of fuel leaked overboard. The bulk carrier was slightly damaged, the tanker suffered more serious damages. The "Interlink Affinity" The freighter had berthed in the Elbe Port on March 21, coming from Colon, and actually remained berthed. It suffered damage too when the "Calisto" got out of control. The "Claudia" entered the Muetzelfeldt-Yard in Cuxhaven on March 24 at 7.30 p.m. for repairs which were completed on April 8.
