Perpetrators boarded bulk carrier

On Nov 30, 2021, at 4.30 p.m., two perpetrators were sighted in the engine room of the 'CH Doris' in position 01 14 36.0 N, 104 01 42.0 E, in the Singapore Strait. The ship's alarm was raised, and the crew was mustered. A search on board was conducted, and at 5.40 p.m. the Master updated Singapore Vessel Traffic Information System (VTIS) that there was no further sighting of perpetrators on board. All crew members were accounted for, and none was injured. Nothing was reported stolen from the ship. The bulk carrier did not require assistance and continued its voyage to Surabaya with an ETA as of Dec 3. A safety navigational broadcast was initiated. The Republic of Singapore Navy's (RSN) Maritime Security Task Force (MSTF) and Singapore Police Force Coast Guard (PCG) were notified.
