Turkey's MedMarine takes delivery of second of a series of eight units; "Efesan Port"
MedMarine takes delivery of second of a series of eight units being built at Med Groups' parent Ereğli shipyard which is one of the largest and modern shipyards in Turkey. The second unit called "Efesan Port" is a 24m 45tbp fifi capable asd tug built according to Robert Allan design.A pair of these units will have been delivered by the end of august 2015. A further six tugboats are under construction that are built as per 2600W RAL design that is configured specifically to the needs of MedMarine to serve ever growing vessel sizes calling the ports of İzmit and İskenderun where MedMarine operates. The second of the 60tbp asd units is scheduled to be delivered in october 2015 with all six units scheduled to be delivered by april 2016.
