The 'Erdemler 6' (IMO: 7315648) which has been arrested by the local court due to unpaid credits at Istanbul since Oct 6, 2021, will be sold at an auction for dismantling as is by local judicial sale office along with harbour master at Istanbul on Feb 18, 2022. It will be sold with an open offer within the scope of Law No. 2886, pursuant to Article 7 of the Ports Law No. 618, since it is sunken and dangerous in its current form in the Milli Müdafaa İskelesi area. Tender Specifications and tender documents will be available from Istanbul Port Authority as of Feb 7, 2022. The tender will be held on Feb 18 at 3 p.m. in the Istanbul Port Authority meeting hall. On Nov 30, 2021, around midnight the ship broke off its moorings at the National Defense Pier during a storm in Yalı Mahallesi, capsized and sank after a while.
