FPSO BRAVO 8715027
On Oct 3, 2010 at 4.19 p.m., the "Star II" on its way from Fujairah to Egypt sent emergency calls after it was followed and being shot by a pirate skiff in the Gulf of Aden. The German fregate "Koeln" sent a Sea Lynx MK 88 A-helicopter the doorgunner of which stopped the skiff with warning shots. The boat with its crew of six was boarded but no evidence found because suspicious material like weapons and ladders had been thrown over board by the crew before so the boarding team had to release the suspected pirates.
