Medevac off Antifer
On March 15, 2018, at 11:55 a.m. the CROSS Jobourg was alerted by the "Hegoak" because a member of the crew was feeling uneasy. The vessel was 12 miles northwest of Antifer, near Le Havre. The CROSS Jobourg immediately started a aconference call with the Toulouse Medical Center and the SAMU in Le Havre. A medical evacuation was decided. At 12:14 p.m. the CROSS Jobourg deployed a Dragon 76 helicopter of the civil security to take the man off. At approximately 12:40 p.m., the helicopter arrived on the scene, and the fisherman was hoisted aboard the helicopter. He was then transported to the Jacques-Monod hospital in Le Havre.
