132 migrants rescued from two boats
In the night from April 17 to 18, the 'Guardamar Calíope' assisted a boat 51 nautical miels east of Arrecife. The crew rescued 56 sub-Saharan migrants. The response was coordinated by the CCS Las Palmas of Salvamento Marítimo. The 'Salvamar Adhara' assisted a boat eightn nautical miles south of La Restinga. Its crew rescued 76 sub-Saharans. 161 migrants rescued off Arrecife
On April 16 the 'Guardamar Calíope' has carried out the rescue of the occupants of thre inflatable boats off Arrecife. Rescued were 161 migrants, 50 in the first, 53 in the second and 58 people in the third boat. They have been disembarked at 10:00 a.m. Canary Islands time in Arrecife. 119 migrants rescued from two boats
On April 6 at 9.25 a.m. the 'Salvamar Izar' rescued 50 people from a cayuko 11 nautical miles off Fuerteventura. Hours before, the Civil Guard located a boat with 69 people on board 12 nauitcal miles from Arguineguín. The 'Guardamar Calíope' rescued the migrants.
