Container loss off Maplethorpe
The "Anja", coming from Blyth, lost three empty containers due to gale force winds of 7-9 Beaufort, near Mablethorpe in position 053 24 54 N, 000 43 18 E, on Nov 20, 2018. The Humber Coastguard was coordinating, in this case. The condition of three other containers still hanging on the vessel was is unknown. It was not even known if they were still on board. The vessel entered the port of Rotterdam, after an inspection by the authorities, on Nov 21 at 4.45 p.m.
