Ferry suffered technical trouble
The ferry service Husavik-Sandvikvåg was interrupted on Aug 20, 2018, at 6 a.m. due to serious technical problems aboard the "Husavik". The sailings at 05:40 a.m. and 06:05 a.m were cancelled while the ship was sidelined in Sandvikvåg for repairs.
Ferry suffered technical trouble
On July 3, 2018, at 11.35 p.m. the "Husavik" suffered a technical failure and had to be withdrawn from the service between Husavik and Sandvikvåg by operator Fjord 1 until further notice. On July 4 repairs were still going on in Husavik. The rserve ferry for the connection, the "Vågsøy" , was in a yard in Sogn og Fjordane for maintenance.
