Engine failure in Paxos
The Port Authority of Paxos was informedin the morning hours of Sep 13, 2022, by the Master of the "Ilida II" that, during the engine warm-up for the scheduled route from the port of Gaio Paxos to the port of Corfu, the starboard side main engine failed. The Port Authority prohibited the sailing of the ferry until the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance by the monitoring classification society, while its 80 passengers were forwarded to their destination aboard another ship.

On July 28, 2022, at midday, the Port Authority of Corfu was informed by the master of the 'Ilida II' of a mechanical damage of the starboard side main engine, while sailing eight nautical miles southeast of the port of Corfu, performing the scheduled route from the port of Corfu to the port of Gaiou in the province of Paxos with five passengers. The hydrofoil returned to the port of Corfu, accompanied by a patrol boat, under his own power.
