Robbers stole ship's stores
On Nov 16, 2021, at 6 p.m. the duty watch on board the 'Jif Breizh', which was moored at the Batangas Anchorage, noticed that the padlock of the bosun's store was broken, and the sling around the chain locker was cut. Three grinders (two out of service and one brand new), two fire-fighting nozzles, one electrical extension cord of 50 metres and one shackle were found to be stolen. The boarding by the robbers onto the vessel was not observed. The robbers probably climbed onto the vessel through the port side bow and proceeded to the bosun's store, the area was not visible from the bridge.
