Triple allision off Bakauheni

Three ferries, moored at the anchorage south of Bakauheni Port, Sumatra, allided on Dec 3, 2019, at 6.30 a.m. The KM 'Amarisa' dragged her anchor in strong winds and underwater currents and high swell. She first drifted onto the port side stern of the 'Nusa Asung', where railings and ventilation tubes were folded over. Then she scraped along the port sie bow of the 'Suki 2'. Ferry breached in allision

The KMP 'Nusa Agung' on Nov 1, 2019, hit a beacon in the Bakauheni Port, Lampung. The Pier 7 of Merak Port, Banten, was closed because the pier 6 of Bakauheni Port was used to repair the ferry which had suffered a breach in the hull. Repairing damage to the ship was done at the dock because the ship had suffered heavy damage and was carried out with underwater welding work. Ferries damaged in collision

The ferries "Nusa Agun" and "Titian Murni" were in collision off Bakauheni, Lampung, in the Sunda Strait, on Nov 27, 2017, around noon. The "Nusa Agung" was breached and suffered water ingress when the "Nusa Agun" slammed into its starboard side. The latter suffered bow damage. At the time of the collision there was fog in the area near Bakau.
