Freighter and yacht intercepted during drug smuggling
The 'Ocean Blue'. en route from Bissau to Gulluk. was intercepted by a patrol boat of the Turkish Coast Guard during illegal cocaine smuggling and transfer from the vessel to the motor yacht 'Belgor' off Bodrum, in position 37 13 12 N, 27 22 00 E on July 26, 2022. Both vessels were arrested by the Turkish Coast Guard. The 'Ocean Blue' proceeded to the Gulluk anchorage and the 'Belgor' to the Bodrum marina. As a result of a detailed search and inspection, cocaine and illegal drugs were found on board the yacht and sea surface. The vessel's and yacht's crew statements were collected by the Public prosecutor. The 'Ocean Blue' remained arrested at Gulluk anchorage as well as the 'Belgor' in Bodrum as of Aug 2.
Engine failure in Aegean Sea
On March 7, 2021, at 2.15 p.m. the 'My Violet' suffered a main engine failure in position 35 54 46.8 N, 27 36 04.8 E. Repairs were carried out by the crew, and the vessel continued its voyage from Ashdod to Aliaga the next morning with an ETA as of March 10.
Technical failure in Antalya
On Feb 27, 2018, the "My Violet" experienced a technical failure at Antalya. The vessel's departure permission has been cancelled by the Harbour Master until the completion of permanent repairs. Repairs were still being carried out by the crew at Antalya inner port. The ship sailed on March 1 at 5 p.m. bound to Ashdod, ETA March 3, 11 a.m.
