Tue Feb 23 13:06:28 CET 2021 Timsen

Three of the four containers lost from the 'Phuc Khanh' have been brought ashore, one container sank and needed to be recovered. Local authorities have begun investigating the incident to determine what caused the allision such as why the vessel's engine failed, its speed, if it was anchored and other factors. The Vietnam Expressway Development Investment Corporation stated that they will coordinate with the related parties to continue examining and assessing the damage done to the Phuoc Khanh bridge and will hold the owner of the ship responsible. The ship remained stationary in the Ben Nghe Port as of Feb 23.
