Technical failure in Bosphorus
The 'Pudozh', en route from Rostov-on-Don to Hereke, suffered a technical failure upon completion of the trasit of the Istanbul Strait and moored at Istanbul Anchorage on March 26, 2022, at 11 a.m. The crew started repairs, and the ships resumed its voyage with an ETA as of March 27.
Spare parts provided for repairs
On Aug 29 a new set of spare parts was provided by the owners of the "Pudozh" for repairs at the Tuzla shipyard. The ship had suffered an engine failure at Izmail in October 2018. The tug "Horoz" had started towing the vessel to Tuzla on Apr 6. Sea trials will be carried out under the presence of class surveyor's recommendation once the repairs have been completed. As of May 24 the works were resumed by shore-based technical teams. Steel replacement in ballast tanks and cargo compartments was partly completed. The main and auxiliary engines wree being overhauled by authorised service engineers.
New set of spare parts
A new set of spare parts has been provided by the owners of the "Pudozh" from the manufacturer. Repairs werestill being carried out as per class surveyor's recommendations. The vessel remained stationary in the shipyard at Tuzla on June 8.
