Fishing vessel towed to Tarragona
The fishing vessel 'El Meu Avi' with two crew members on board reportsed a mechanical breakdown near the port of Salou on April 12, 2024. The CCS Tarragona of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Fomalhaut', which towed the vessel to Tarragona and recoverd the net, which could have been dangerous for navigation.
Fishing vessel towed to Tarragona
The Spanish flagged fishing vessel 'Paz Gayo' suffered an engine failure on Feb 19, 2024, and requested assistance at La Pineda, in front of the mouth of the port of Tarragona. The CCS Tarragona of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Fomalhaut' to the scene, which took the vessel in tow and safely pulled it to the port.
Motor boat towed to Cambrils
On Aug 26, 2023, the motor boat 'Senmar' requested assistance due to a mechanical breakdown in front of Cristal beach with seven people, among them five children and two adults on board.
