On Nov 7 the "Sand" berthed at Skudeneshavn in the afternoon where it will undergo repairs of its grounding damage suffered on Nov 4 at the Skude Yard.

On Nov 4, 2010, the "Sand", which is running between m Sand and Ropeid got off course after its departure at 3.15 p.m. at Ropeidsida. The ship diverted from its course only 50-100 metres off teh ferry quay and ran onto rocks. Four persons suffered injuries and were taken to Haugesund hospital. Three of them were female passengers, the fourth the captain. On the whole there were 15 passengers and 4 crew on board. Some cars transported on the ferry were damaged due to the impact. By 4.30 p.m. the ferry, after having been refloated, was still at the quay, and passengers had to wait for their passage. The police questioned and drug tested the crew, and the ferry was surveyed.
