Perpetrators boarded bulk carrier
The 'Seacon 8' was boarded by four perpetrators, while transiting the eastbound lane of the Singapore Strait in position 01 14 27.6 N, 104 03 27 E, on Dec 18, 2021, at 4.20 p.m.A search of the vessel was conducted, and no further sight of the perpetrators was noted. All crew members were accounted for and no items were report stolen. The 'Seacon 8' didn't require any assistance and continued its voyage to the next port of call in China. The ship will be sending evidence of the boarding to the Singapore authorities.
