Devotion damaged bunker station
The "Devotion" was in collision with the bunker station "Nobel" on the outer Maas in the evening of June 8, 2011, at the Uilen Quay in Zwijndrecht. The "Devotion" suffered serious damage at the bow as did the bunker station which was pushed about 20 meters away from its berth. Rescue forces from Dordrecht rescue, police and Rijkswaterstraat attended, two tugs pulled back the bunker station, the hull of which was surveyed by divers from Smit Salvage for possible leaks. The Water Police launched an investigation on the accident. The "Devotion" carrying a cargo of containers was in collision with the bunkerstation "Nobel" on the Outer Maas in the evening of Mar 24, 2011, at the Uilen Quay in Zwijndrecht. No one was hurt, but the "Devotion" suffered bow damage, and the bunkerstation was pushed 20 metres off its position. The Dordtse rescue bridgade, Rijkswaterstaat and the police attended and two tugs went on stand-by. They assisted mooring the bunkerstation, and divers of Smit surveyed its hull for leaks.
