Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble
On Sep 6, 2018, the "Sykkylvsfjord" suffered technical trouble and had to be withdrawn from the Stranda - Liabygda route. In the evening the service was taken over by the ferry "Aukra". The "Sykkylvsfjord" was sidelined in Stranda for repairs.
Ferry sidelined due to technical trouble
The ferry service between Stranda and Liabygda was interrupted on Dec 18, 2016, from 9 a..m to noon after the "Sykkylvsfjord" encountered technical problems at the main engine. Customers were recommended to reroute to Magerholm or the alternative route Eidsdal-Liabygda-Stranda, while the ferry remained at the dock at Stranda for troubleshooting.
Ferry sidelined due to propeller trouble
In the afternoon of Dec 13, 2015, the ferry service between Stranda and Liabygda was interrupted because the "Sykkylvsfjorden" had suffered trouble with one propeller. Technicians were called to Stranda for troubleshooting. A replacement ferry had to be inserted at 5.15 p.m. after it turned out that would take a longer time to fix the error.
