Allision in Hareid

Due to strong winds the "Tidefjord" failed to stop in time when approaching the port of Hareid on Jan 15, 2018, at 5 a.m. The ship allided with the north side of the pier and suffered damage to the fender, the hull and one propeller which got contact with the bottom. The damage was thus limitied that the "Tidefjord" could remain in operation for the time being, but would later have to be docked for repairs.

Fery adrift on fjord

In the afternoon of Mar 20, 2015, the ferry service from Hareid to Sulesund was interrupted after the "Tidefjord" suffered a failure at one engine and was adrift on the Fjord for one hour before returning to the jetty. Hydraulic hose burst and caused disruptions

In the afternoon of Nov 1, 2013, the ferry service Hareid - Sulesund was disrupted due to technical Problems of the "Tide Fjord" which occurred at 3.30 p.m. and sidelined the ferry in Hareid. The trouble was caused by the burst of a hydraulic hose which had to be exchanged before the ferry could be returned to service.
