Crew member fell into port during securing operations and went missing

The 'Unzile Ana, due to adverse weather conditions in the area, temporarily lost control and slightly shifted from the pier at Eregli on Nov 30, 2021. During re-berthing and securing operations, the duty Able Seaman fell into the sea from the forecastle deck. Divers started conducting an sAR operation in port. The vessel's departure permission has been cancelled by thelocal authorities until the completion of the search operation for the missing crew member and incident investigation procedures. An incident investigation file was opened by both Harbour Master for the technical side and the public prosecutor for the legal side.
