Captain died off Altamira
On Dec 9, 2016, around midnight the 55-year-old Kyler Khil, the captain of the "Danae C", died shortly before entering the dock of the port of Altamira because of a sudden cardiac arrest. The container ship had come from Houston and was waiting for the approval to enter the Port of Altamira, whhe began to feel bad. The crew gave him first aid, however it was in vain. His body will be repatriated in the coming days. The ship departed on Dec 11 at 10:00 a.m. bound to the port of Veracruz.
