Emergency anchoring on the Elbe
On Aug 31, 2019, the "Furevik" suffered a mechanical failure and had to be emergency anchored off Bützfleth near Stade on the Elbe at 12.45 a.m. at fairway buoy 104. At 2.15 a.m. two tugs came to assist and towed the ship with the ingoing tide to Hamburg where it was safely berthed at 5.25 a.m. The tanker left the port again on Sep 1 at 10.50 p.m. and headed towards Skagen, ETA Sep 3.
