Grounding on Volgo-Caspian Ship Canal

The "Lady L", proceeding on the Volgo-Caspian Ship Canal, veered off the fairway and ran aground at kilometre mark 51 about 2.9 miles from Astrakhan in position 046 19 23 N, 047 59 10 E, on Nov 25, 2018, at 07.25 a.m. The vessel refloated under own power and proceeded to the port of Astrakhan for surveys of the Astrakhan Port State Control Inspectorate.

In the evening of Aug 4, 2010, the ""Sibirskiy 2131" was controlled by the custom when about to leave the port of Brake destined for St. Petersburg. The captain was found to be drunk. The police Brake was called which found him to be intoxicated with 2,39 promille. The ship had to be detained as now the necessary number of nautic officers was not aboard. Another test was terminated for Aug 5. By 2 p.m., the vessel remained berthed in port.
