Mon Feb 27 10:43:29 CET 2017 Timsen

Coming from Helsinki, where she had sailed on Feb 23, 2017, the "MSC Iris" ran aground on the Wester Scheldt on Feb 27 at 3:20 a.m at the Valkenisse Plate near buoy 66. Several tugs were deplyoed to provide assistance. The ship could be refloated just after 4:00 a.m. during the first salvage attempt.
