China Rongsheng rolls out another Valemax - Vale Shandong

Mon Dec 10 09:41:48 CET 2012 arnekiel

Over the weekend, Dec. 8,/9., 2012, China Rongsheng announced the delivery of their seventh 380,000 dwt very large ore carrier (VLOC) to Vale SA, and the sea trial of another VLOC for Oman Shipping Company on the same day, Seatrade Asia online reports. Including the Vale Shandong, China Rongsheng has delivered a total of seven VLOCs, with one completed last year and six this year. We are very pleased with the improvement in production efficiency the team has achieved so far, we expect 2012 and 2013 (to be) the peak delivery period for Rongsheng-built VLOCs. Besides the seven VLOCs delivered, several VLOCs have also been launched and undergoing outfitting," said Chen Qiang, China Rongsheng chairman and ceo.
