Technical failure off Canakkale Strait
The "Princess Dina" (IMO: 822385), en route from Tsingeli to Odessa, suffered a technical failure in the southern entrance of the Çanakkale Strait on March 19, 2019. The vessel subsequently dropped anchor for repairs which were carried out by the crew. On March 22 the vessel remained moored in pos. 39° 52.25' N 026° 3.15' E.
Engine failure off Bodrum
The "Princess Dina", bound from Nemrut Bay for Mersin, suffered a technical failure and sheltered at Bodrum anchorage on May 9, 2018, at 11 p.m.. Repairs were being effected by the crew, and the ship remained stationary in position N 36° 58.42' E 027° 20.64' by May 11. On May 13 the ship was under way at slow speed with four knots off Fethiye.
Multipurpose carrier sheltered with technical failure
The "Princess Dina", while en route from Mersin to Odessa in ballast, experienced a technical failure, on Feb 23, 2018, and sheltered at Saraylar anchorage. Repairs were being carried out by crew and the vessel remained stationary on Feb 24. On March 3 it entered a shipyard in Altinova for repairs. She sailed again on March 13 at 3 p.m. and headed to Istanbul where she arrived at 7 p.m.Upload News
