Medevac on the Steenbank
On July 19, 2022, at 1.20 p.m. a crew member of the 'Sormovskiy 3060' which was moored on Steenbank anchorage needed urgent medical care and had to be medevaced. The KNRM lifeboat 'Uly' was alerted, and also the pilot boats 'Cetus' and 'Procyon' assisted. The patient was finally taken on board a Coast Guard helicopter and transported to shore for further treatment. Collision in ice convoy
The "Sormovskiy 3060" was collision with the icebreaker "Sankt Peterburg" on Jan 30, 2019, at 4.15 a.m. enroute to the Port of St. Petersburg. The accident happend in an ice convoy in position lat 60.08.8 N, 027.43.5 E, in the Gulf of Finland. The "Sormovskiy 3060" suffered a hole of 20x20 centimetres five metres above the waterline. After its arrival at St. Petersburg at 7.40 p.m. the vessel was docked at the Kanonerskiy Ship Repair Yard.
