Two days after the spectacular allision of the 'Tina 1' with the Iranian container m/v 'Shahraz' (IMO: 9349576), in position 01°11'213"N/103°52'797" E in the Strait of Singapore on Nov 22 at 10:37 p.m. both ships remained firmly aground side by side at Samba Island. After the accident, the two patrol boats KN 'Sarotama - P 112' and KN 'Rantos - P.210' were deployed to secure the scene of the accident. The Indonesian tug Sta 1 ‘(IMO: 9649158) and the Cook Islands flag tug‘ SSE Adira ‘(MMSI: 518100754) were also on site. In addition, the Indonesian National Police sent a boat for surveillance. It was not ruled out that the Polish captain Krzystor Bogdan had become disorientated in the strait with its intense ship traffic.
