The crew of the 'Aegean Angel', being underway in position 01 17 06N, 104 20 15E, in the eastbound lane of the Singapore Strait en route from Ras Tanura, found the steering room padlock broken, scanned the area and sighted three perpetrators jumping overboard on Oct 27, 2021, at around 5.10 p.m. The Master ordered checks to be conducted, all personnel were accounted for and no items were reported missing. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued its voyage to its next port of call Sriracha with an ETA as of Oct 30.

SUPER NOVA
On Oct 24, 2021, at 2.50 p.m. the master of the 'Magic Nova' sighted four perpetrators on the deck near the stern in position 01 14 27.6N, 104 02 06.0E, in the eastbound lane of the Singapore Strait. After they were sighted, the perpetrators jumped overboard and escaped. The crew conducted checks onboard; all the crew were accounted for, and nothing was reported stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued its voyage to the next port of call Bayuquan with an ETA as of Nov 3.
WHITE IVY
The 'White Ivy' was boarded by seven perpetrators in position 09 22 52N, 013 41 28W, at the Conakry Anchorage on Oct 25, 2021, at 2.08 a.m. They were armed with guns and knives. The vessel was robbed of computers and laptops. The vessel called the Conakry port authorities which deployed a patrol ship in the area. The crew members were reportedly safe.
MSC LUCIA
The 'MSC Lucia' was attacked by pirates on Oct 25, 2021, at around 9 a.m. in the Gulf of Guinea 86 nautical miles southwest of Agbami Terminal.. The ship was en route from Lome to Douala with an ETA as of Oct 27. The pirates managed to get on aboard the ship, but the crew retreated into the citadel. A Russian naval vessel in the area, the fleet oiler ‘Vice-Admiral Kulakov’, which was nearby, sent a helicopter towards the ‘MSC Lucia’, which caused the pirates to choose to withdraw back to their boats, after which they fled from the area.
MONTET TIDE
On Oct 25, 2021, at 9.27 p.m. the 'Montet Tide', en route from Punta Europa to Malongo with 14 crew members on board, was attacked by pirates 50 nautical miles southwest of Biolo Island in pos. 02 35 29 N, 007 59 13 E, about 62 nautical miles southwest of Luba, Equatorial Guinea. An unknown number of pirates boarded the vessel, taking three crew members with them as hostages. 11 crew members retreated into the citadel and were safe. At the time of the attack, the vessel had an estimated three metres freeboard and was underway at seven knots. The assailants departed the vessel on Oct 26 at around 4 a.m.
