Opengear ACM 5002 + RX Carbon

This setup includes an Opengear ACM 5002 miniPC and a True Heading RX Carbon AIS Receiver.

After each step, remember to check your My Vesseltracker status to see if your station has come back online.

Step 1: Check Cable Connections

Ensure that the power, Ethernet, USB and antenna cables are properly and tightly connected on each end.

Step 2: Restart Device

Disconnect the power cable from the device, wait 10 seconds, and reconnect the power cable. Shutting down the device and powering it back on will return it to its normal state.

Step 3: Check Opengear ACM 5002 LEDs

If your antenna still hasn't come back online, ensure that its LED lights are flashing correctly.

Are the LED Lights flashing normally?

Probable issue
Yes There is likely a problem with your Internet connection to the Vesseltracker.com server. You can continue troubleshooting using Step 2 of the Internet Connection Section of this guide.
