Seiner holed in allision
The 'Alanett' allided with the berth no. 1 in the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on March 20, 2024, during the berthing manoever at 1 p.m. LT. Due to the hard impact, the hull was damaged at port side amidships, and sea water began to flow into the hold. The water ingress could be controlled. Disabled longliner off Shiriuchi
The last known position of the "Alanett" dated 6.15 p.m. UTC on Jan 1, 2013, was in the Tsugaru Strait off Shiriuchi, Hokkaido, status unknown. The vessel was disabled off Hokkaido on Dec 27, Japanese tugs were to tow the longliner to Hakodate, odin.tc reports.
