One dead and three critical after mass poisoning
On Mar 12, 2015, at 9.20 p.m. the "Ulus Sky" reported a mass food poisoning on board. The vessel anchored in on Astrakhan roads in the Caspian sea en route from Astrakhan to Amirabad with 2704 tons of grain on board. Stormy weather hampered the following evacuation. On Mar 13 at 04.45 a.m. it was reported that the chief officer died, while three other crew members were in critical condition. A helicopter was to reach vessel in the morning hours.
