Cocaine interecepted in Zeebrugge
In the port of Zeebrugge the Police intercepted 67 kilograms of cocaine which had come from Brazil board the ""Carlos Fischer" on Oct 31, 2013. The ship had carried juice from Santos to Belgium which was destined for the company Tropicana. The ship had docked on Oct 30. The street value of the drugs was estimated to be about three Million Euro. The ship would normally have sailed to Ghent, but the police stopped it once the ship was in port. Agents of the federal judicial police and the maritime police along with some people from the customs boarded the vessel. With the help of some drug dogs, the entire ship searched. The drugs were in single cabins and in the the bow. The police arrested three Chileans as drugs were found in their cabins. They were interrogated and released on Oct 31 night.
