Doulbe medevac at Mossel Bay
On Sep 25, 2017, at 10.35 p.m. the NSRI Mossel Bay launched a sea rescue craft, accompanied by a WC Government Health EMS doctor and paramedics, to rendezvous with the "Harmony Ocean", sailing from Liberia to Durban, reporting two crew members onboard being unconscious following an illness. On arrival on the scene, off-shore of Mossel Bay, the EMS doctor and EMS paramedics stabilised the casualties onboard the ship and they were then transferred onto the sea rescue craft and brought to shore where they were transported to hospital by EMS ambulance in stable conditions. The operation was completed on Feb 26 at 3 a.m.
