Leak in engine room
The 'LS Eva', while en route from Teesport to Rotterdam with 13 crew members on board, suffered a leak in the engine room 40 miles off Spurn Point, in position 53 53 34.8 N, 000 59 16.8E on Dec 12, 2020, at 10.45 a.m. The leak was fixed within the next 30 minutes and the vessel resumed its voyage and berthed at the Koole Terminal in Rotterdam on Dec 13 at 7.10 a.m.
Medevac off Le Havre
On May 20, 2020, arond 6.30 a.m. the 'LS Eva' requested medical assistance for one of its sailors who had fallen ill (no link with the Covid-19). The ship was at anchor in the waiting zone 5 nautical miles west of Le Havre. A Dragon 76 helicopter was deployed to the area around 7 a.m. It hoisted the patient, a 53-year-old man, around 8:30 a.m. and transported him to the Monod Hospital.
