Russian cargo vessel refloated by Danish salvage ship
On Apr 16 at 5 a.m. the "Ivan Shchepetov" which was grounded southwest of Hundested was refloated by the "Susanne A" of the J.A. Rederiet in Horsens. The "Ivan Shchepetov" was now waiting five miles off the Isefjord approach to berth at Frederiksværk for discharge. The "Susanne A" proceeded back to Horsens. Susanne A stopped salvage attempt
On Apr 15 the "Ivan Shchepetov" remained firm aground southwest of Hundested Harbour, where it got stuck in the morning of Apr 12 at the entrance to the fiord. The Danish salvage vessel "Susanne A" worked most of Apr 14 on the spot, but in the late afternoon retreated to the port of Hundested where it remained since. The "Ivan Shchepetov" was en route from Helsingborg to Frederiksværk when it ran aground in the narrow fairway off the Hundested harbour.
Firm aground, Denmark
Russian general cargo vessel Ivan Shchepetov ran aground in the morning Apr 12 13 in Isefjord, Kattegat, Denmark, reported Maritime Danmark. As of morning Apr 15 vessel is still firmly aground, diving survey was made and salvage plan accepted.
